Elementary Music...

Third through sixth grade students participate in weekly music classes. The students are exposed to basic elements of music designed to enhance listening enjoyment and ability. These classes include a wide spectrum of music theory, history and listening. The classes are structured to include hands-on involvement with various musical instruments and techniques. All students at this level who are interested in musical performance are encouraged to audition for various musical groups to compete on the state level.
