Josephine was born in Columbia, South America. Her parents are Camilo and Hildegardo. I am the oldest of three siblings: one sister, Mary Isabel, and one brother, Mauricio. She studied to be a Bilingual Secretary. I met my husband, Denis, in Bogota in 1988 while he was teaching the Columbian soldiers about Black Hawk helicopters. They were married in February of 1989, and came to live in Newport News, Virginia, where their two children were born - Sabrina, 21, and Isabela, 16. Because of the Army, they had the opportunity to travel to Germany, Belgium, South Korea (twice), the Philippines, and Thailand.
They have been a part of Berean Baptist Church and Academy since 2000.
